Description
The most fun you can have in school holidays…
Children love being outdoors, and at Ambleford Forest School we know how to entertain, inspire and help with the holiday boredom. We have an exciting, safe and secure 6-acre site surrounded by historic ancient woodland. It’s a magical place for children to explore.
Suitable for school age Year 1 to Year 6. Sessions run from 9am until 3pm.
Our holiday clubs are firmly based on the Forest School Ethos but with some additional extras. Our clubs take place in various locations across our 6 acre site including; woodlands, the farm, play park, medieval-style round house, the Tipi and in dedicated camps with defined boundaries. So, no two days will ever be the same. Sessions take place in all weathers: rain, shine or snow (however sessions may be cancelled in high winds) and are delivered by experienced qualified leaders who have full DBS checks and first aid.
Our Holiday clubs gives children the opportunity for free play in a safe, stimulating environment, using natural resources to stimulate their imagination. Our leaders provide activities to focus the group but free play forms the majority of the of the holiday club as we follow the Forest School ethos of sessions being participant led.
What to expect from your Holiday Club session:
