Working families face significant challenges during teachers’ strike days, and we at Ambleford are dedicated to supporting our community in any way we can. As such, we are pleased to announce that we will be offering free childcare for up to 20 children in academic Years 1 to 8 on the upcoming strike days on the 27th of April and 2nd of May.
These places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and will be released as soon as we are aware of the impending strikes (likely the week before). We anticipate high demand for these spaces and advise parents and guardians to join our dedicated mailing list to receive information about the availability of these free places as soon as possible.
As part of our commitment to supporting our community, we are also inviting parents to make a charitable contribution to We Are Beams, an organization that supports disabled children across Kent. While there is no obligation to do so, a donations box will be available for those who wish to make a contribution at drop off and pick up on the day.
We understand that these strikes can be stressful for families, and we hope that our efforts to provide free childcare will help alleviate some of that stress. We are proud to be able to support our community in this way and look forward to providing a safe and caring environment for the children.
IMPORTANT NOTE: completion of this form is not confirmation of a place. You must await the email that announces released spaces and complete that process.
