A six-week outdoor coaching programme for 8–14 year olds, combining adventure, practical challenges and ADHD coaching to build confidence, self-awareness and strategies that work in the real world.
Understand your brain. Harness your strengths. Find your advantage.
Everything we do at Wild Minds is built around four simple ideas. Together, they take children from understanding themselves, through developing practical strategies, to recognising and using their individual strengths.
Before children can work with their ADHD, they need to understand it.
We help children explore what ADHD means for them – why they can focus intensely on some things but struggle with others, why their thoughts move quickly, and why emotions and impulses can sometimes feel difficult to control.
Understanding creates self-awareness and helps children recognise that finding something difficult doesn’t mean they’re bad at it.
Know my brain. Know my triggers. Know what makes me tick.
Understanding is the beginning. Next, we help children discover what actually works for them.
Through games, outdoor challenges and practical experiences, children develop strategies for focus, organisation, motivation, impulsivity and emotional regulation.
Instead of simply being told to concentrate or calm down, they begin building their own toolkit for managing difficult moments.
Find what works. Practise it. Build confidence using it.
Now we put those strategies into practice.
We explore everyday challenges – concentrating in lessons, remembering instructions, starting homework, dealing with frustration and managing friendships – and help children work out what they can do differently.
Children learn to recognise what they need, choose strategies and increasingly advocate for themselves.
Use my toolkit. Ask for what I need. Make my world work better for me.
Wild Minds isn’t just about overcoming difficulties. It’s about recognising strengths.
We help children explore the creativity, energy, curiosity, determination, problem-solving and intense enthusiasm that can accompany ADHD – and, importantly, discover their own individual strengths.
The goal is for children to leave understanding that thinking differently can sometimes become a genuine advantage.
Know who I am. Own what makes me different. Find my advantage.

Wild Minds is designed for children where ADHD is their primary need and who can participate safely and fully independently within a small group.
We understand that ADHD often exists alongside other needs, and this does not necessarily make the programme unsuitable. However, Wild Minds is not designed to provide 1-to-1 support and may not be appropriate for children who require significant individual support, have a history of leaving supervised areas, or whose additional needs make group participation difficult.
We’ll ask you to tell us a little about your child before confirming their place, so we can make sure Wild Minds is the right fit for them and for the group.
If your child has ADHD and you would like them to understand their brain better, develop practical strategies and begin to recognise the strengths within the way they think, we would love to hear from you.
