Leather Working Course for Adults – £75

An introductory course in leather working for complete novices and beginners. You will learn about the basics of leather and the different types available to buy. The course will consist of crafting a full grain leather belt in your choice of colour. You will learn to size to allow for growing and shrinking waistlines and add a design through embossing. There will be a choice of buckles allowing each participant to build a fully customised belt.

Included in the cost are all course materials;

Enough full grain leather to create one belt, a buckle of your choice, your own set of leather needles.

There is no need to bring anything specific to this course although you may want to bring an apron as the dying process can be rather messy and also bring your lunch. Tea, coffee, biscuits and enthusiasm will flow freely though!

Only 4 spaces are available per session to ensure that everyone gets the attention they need and comes away happy that they can continue to sew independently.
